Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and research potential prospects, focusing on key decision makers across target industries. Build and maintain a comprehensive database using data enrichment tools like ZoomInfo, Lusha, and Apollo.
- Conduct outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to generate qualified leads.
- Manage inbound inquiries and convert them into sales opportunities.
- Maintain and update lead information in CRM systems.
Sales Support
- Schedule meetings, demos, and introductions for the business development and consulting teams.
- Support the preparation of proposals, capability decks, and client presentations.
- Assist in responding to RFPs/RFIs by coordinating with internal teams.
Client Engagement
- Understand client needs and articulate consulting service offerings clearly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients.
- Follow up consistently to move prospects through the sales pipeline.
Market & Competitor Research
- Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments.
- Provide insights to the sales and consulting teams to refine targeting strategies.
Reporting & Pipeline Management
- Track sales activities, lead status, and pipeline progress in CRM.
- Provide weekly/monthly reports on lead performance, conversions, and pipeline health.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams for campaign execution.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 5 -8 years of inside sales or business development experience, ideally in a consulting or professional services environment.
Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to understand and explain consulting solutions and value propositions.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.).
- Hands on experience with Linkedin Sales Navigator
- High level of motivation, ownership, and target orientation.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Ability to collaborate across teams (consulting, marketing, finance).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling IT/management consulting services.
- Prior experience working with global teams.
- Familiarity with lead generation tools (ZoomInfo, Lusha, Apollo, etc.).‑generation tools (ZoomInfo, Lusha, Apollo, etc.).
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Sales Navigator, data enrichment (ZoomInfo, Clay, Lusha etc.); strong US/India market knowledge.
