About the Role

Morphosis Technologies is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to join our product engineering team. You will work across a live multi-tenant SaaS platform and a modern application stack, contributing to backend APIs, frontend interfaces, databases, integrations, infrastructure, and production support.

About the Product Environment

One of our core platforms is a multi-tenant school management system used by multiple schools. The platform supports student management, fees, examinations, attendance, transport, role-based administration, and parent-facing applications. The existing production platform is built with Laravel/PHP, while the next-generation platform uses Django, Django REST Framework, React, and TypeScript.

What You Will Do

• Develop, enhance, debug, and maintain production SaaS applications.
• Build REST APIs and backend services using Django, Django REST Framework, Python, Celery, and Redis.
• Maintain and enhance the existing Laravel/PHP platform and understand established business logic.
• Develop React and TypeScript interfaces for forms, dashboards, data-heavy workflows, and role-based views.
• Design and optimize MySQL queries, indexes, and database operations.
• Work with multi-tenant architecture and ensure strict tenant-level data isolation.
• Maintain integrations such as payment gateways, messaging services, biometric devices, Firebase notifications, and Google Maps.
• Support Flutter mobile applications through stable, well-designed APIs.
• Deploy and troubleshoot applications on Linux/VPS environments.
• Write automated tests for critical business logic, payment flows, APIs, and tenant isolation.
• Review pull requests and AI-assisted code for correctness, security, maintainability, and performance.
• Investigate production issues and communicate clearly with internal teams and users.

Required Experience & Skills

• 3–5 years of professional experience building and shipping web applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with either Python/Django or PHP/Laravel, with the ability to work with the other ecosystem.
• Production experience with React and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, authentication, authorization, forms, validation, and frontend data management.
• Good SQL/MySQL knowledge, including query optimization and indexing.
• Practical experience deploying and troubleshooting applications on Linux servers or VPS environments.
• Strong Git and collaborative development practices.
• Good written and spoken English for technical communication.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS applications and tenant isolation.
• Working knowledge of Flutter and mobile application release processes.
• Experience with Indian payment gateways such as Razorpay, PayU, or Cashfree and webhook handling.
• Experience with Celery, Redis, background jobs, queues, and scheduled tasks.
• Experience integrating hardware or biometric devices.
• Experience in school management, ERP, education technology, or similar business platforms.
• Experience using AI coding assistants in a professional development workflow.
