Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Software Developer – Backend (Django & Python) to develop, maintain, and optimize scalable backend applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Python, Django, Django REST Framework (DRF), and MySQL, with the ability to build secure, high-performance backend systems and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Python and Django.
• Design and develop REST APIs using Django REST Framework (DRF).
• Build scalable, secure, and reusable backend services and business logic.
• Design and optimize database models, queries, and integrations using MySQL or relational databases.
• Integrate backend systems with frontend applications, third-party APIs, and external services.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams for solution delivery.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Python, Django, and Django REST Framework (DRF).
• Good knowledge of REST API development and integrations.
• Strong experience with MySQL and database optimization.
• Experience with Git HUB and version control.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.
• Familiarity with Linux/server environments and deployment concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Frappe Framework and ERPNext customization/development will be an added advantage.
• Exposure to Docker, cloud platforms, or CI/CD pipelines is preferred.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
